From below illuminated Christmas tree. Easy to create and a real eye-catcher. 3 or 4 mm design with illuminated or non-illuminated base version.
Choose the appropriate objects based on whether you prefer a thin or thick base, with or without lights. Note that for the light version, you should also use the right bends. You may need to adjust this hole on the bends according to the thickness of your cable.
Cut the file using your XTool Laser. If you don't have extension rails, you may need to laser the file in multiple parts.
Assemble the two parts of the Christmas tree. The drawings are very precise; however, if the assembly feels too loose or too tight, you may need to adjust your cut settings. (kerf offset)
Depending on the base you've chosen, follow the instructions below.
Light Version: Attach your LED strip or a light source of your choice to the lower part of the base. Note that the cable must be placed in the wider slot of the part later.
Place the middle inner ring around the flexible ribbon.
The exact position of the ring is shown in the image above.
Afterward, simply attach the bottom and the top part.
If you have attached an LED strip, thread the cable through the hole on the back
Place the tree on the base. ;)
Your tree is now finished and ready to impress the masses. I wish you lots of fun building it!
