The moon is 9 layers of vinyl. Colours from bottom up are white, 5 layers of grey going from lighter to darker, matte black, glossy black, then matte black. The Letters are silver.
Cut and weed these two layers, then line them up at the far right hand side. There is a slight flat edge for reference.
The first layer should be white and the second layer should be the lightest grey you have.
Cut and weed these two layers, then line them up on top on the other two layers, still following the slightly flat edge on the far right.
Layer 3 should be slightly darker than layer 2 and layer 4 should be slightly darker than layer 3.
Cut and weed these two layers, then line them up on top of the rest of the previous layers, continuing to follow the slightly flat edge on the far right.
Layers 5 should be slightly darker than layer 4 and layer 6 should be slightly darker than layer 5.
Cut and weed these two layers, then line them up on top on the other layers, still following the slightly flat edge on the far right. Take your time in weeding the small intricate details, but don't worry if you missed a piece here and there.
Layer 7 should be matte black and layer 8 should be glossy black. This will add depth to the shadowy part of the moon.
Cut and weed this final layer. Pay close attention to the details and take your time, don't worry if there are a few pieces that don't make it on, no one but you will notice.
The 9th and final layer should be matte black.
