Beautiful and elegant, this piggy bank is designed to secure your money for the next shopping spree at XTOOL. ;) Approximate height: 130mm Approximate diameter: 115mm The piggy bank can be used in a classic form or personalized according to your own taste. 4 SVG engraving templates are included as inspiration.
The file is designed for 4mm material by me.
For adjustments, you can use the Resize Slot tool in Lightburn. However, all inner slots must also be manually adjusted to match the material thickness.
Follow the order as shown in the image during cutting:
Red = Engraving
Green = Assembly Guide
Black = Cutting Line.
Glue the round spacer and the closure part with the pins together, then attach this assembly to the mark on the lid.
Glue the bottom part and the inner part of the locking mechanism as shown in the picture above.
Alternatively, you can flip the inner part depending on whether the piggy bank is intended to be opened to the left or right.
Note that this is a very precise step, and this part must be positioned exactly in the center, both inside and outside.
Otherwise, the cover won't attach properly, or the closure won't function correctly.
Position the spacer ring at the upper part exactly in the center so that, similar to the lower part, the slots for the casing remain free, and then glue the entire assembly.
Lay the casing with the outside facing down on your work surface.
Afterward, insert the stability ring into the middle hole, ensuring that the arrow marking is facing upward.
Now, fold the casing together and place the bottom on one side and the lid on the other side.
Attach the bottom ring to the underside of the piggy bank and insert the closure into the opening. By rotating, the piggy bank will be locked.
