I enjoy playing guitar and listening to music. I wanted to make some wall art that incorporated the two. This is a layered piece that can be glued together and hung on a wall. The saying that I put on there can be changed if you'd prefer. I used some stain, string, wood glue, hot glue to keep strings in place, and 1/4" plywood on my xTool S1.
I used 2 pieces of ¼" pine plywood that were 14"x8". After processing layer 1, process layer 2. You will need some string, hot glue (if you want guitar strings), wood glue, and stain or paint of your choice.
Step 1: Glue part A onto Part B
(Optional: now is the time to paint guitar body with stain or paint)
Step 2: Pick guard, neck, and pickups are one piece that can be glued onto top of part A
Step 3: The bridge is the skinnier oval piece that can now be glued right below the pickup on Part A
Step 4: I tied a knot on the end of string and feed it through the hole from back to front then up the length of guitar and through the other hole. Do this for all 6 strings.
Step 5: I held the strings tightly and put hot glue in the oval opening on back side of Part B. (Do not use too much glue. You do not want it thicker than plywood)
Step 6: Glue back panel (Part C) onto the back of Part B once the hot glue is dry
Step 7: Glue knobs onto front of guitar
Step 8: Glue the other oval shaped piece onto guitar to hide where strings come out.
Step 9: Glue frame onto front of Part A
