This picture frame is the perfect way to showcase your Valentine’s Day memory or any special moment. Adorned with delicate heart accents, it adds a sweet and romantic touch to your display. Whether it holds a family photo, wedding picture, or a thoughtful gift, this frame brings a personal and loving warmth to your home.
There are 2 canvases in the file. The first one is the frame which I used 6mm maple plywood. The second canvas is the rest of the pieces cut from 3mm basswood plywood. You can choose any material with the same thickness. Cut and score all the pieces. You can choose to cut the hearts out with everything else and paint afterwards, or you can paint first and then cut. If you paint first, paint a piece of wood, let it completely dry, then cover with painter's tape. Cut out the hearts and peel off the tape.
Place your frame back side up. Glue the “U” shaped piece to the frame making sure there is equal space around all the sides. Then glue the back piece by lining it up with the edges of the middle piece. Clamp all the pieces together and let dry.
Glue the hearts in place on the front of the frame. Then, Glue the stand base lining it up with the score marks. You can choose to glue the stand in place, or keep it so it is removable. Complete with polyurethane spray or a wood sealer of your choice. Add a picture and you are done!
