Step1: Design

  • Decide what you want your card to be
    • Bring in some images or add some text to your design.
  • Create a box 6" x 5"
  • Create another box 3"x 5" and align the box to the right side of the 6"x5" box
    • shown in the 2nd photo (Red box)
  • Make sure you design is inside the red box. This is going to be the front side of the card.
  • Once you have it all aligned delete the red box, this was just to help you place your design.

  • First set up your sticky mat and cardstock in your laser
  • Set up your blade in the blade slot
  • Change the processing type to inkjet printer
  • After it prints you want to change the processing type to blade
  • Make sure all your settings are correct
    • I am using a 176g cardstock in this project and found 80 power / 80 speed / 2 passes worked for me. If you are using a lighter or thicker cardstock you will need to adjust your settings.

Step3: Assembly

  • Fold your card in half so the edges are touching, as shown.
