      Use your laser to create your own greeting cards out of cardstock! Here I will show you how to create a happy birthday card!

Create your text
- Also you can also get creative here and adding a name!
Once you have your text create an offset around the text.
- once you pick a good distance with everything still selected click on “release compound” at the top toolbar
- you want to delete all the inner pieces. You only want to keep the outside outline of the shape.
Create a copy of the offset and paste it off to the side
Select one of the outlines and reflect it horizontally
Selected both the objects and align them vertically center
Create a small box and place it over the two objects so that its overlapping both outlines. As shown in photo 6.
Select all three objects and weld them together

Preview

Depending on your machine and the cardstock you use you may need to adjust your settings.
I don't know the weight of this card stock but it on the lighter side and for my M1 20 watt I used the above settings.
The score function will cut the cardstock with the correct settings.

Grab your glue of choice. I recommend Bearly-Art Precision Craft Glue.
- This can be found on amazon.
Glue your project together as shown in fourth photo.
- i used some craft tweezers to help place the letters on my card.
