Information
Store bought greeting cards to expensive! So why not use your laser to make your very own for any occasion? Here I made a graduation greeting card out of cardstock!

Step1: Design

Bring in your SVG object, in this case I brought in a graduation hat.
Copy and paste another copy off to the side.
Click on one of the hats and “reflect horizontally”
Create text to put inside the hat that your reflected horizontally.
Make sure you reflect your text horizontally as well. Use Stardos Stencil for the text so all the letters will show up on your project Size your text inside of the hat.
Click on the hat with the text (make sure your text is not selected)
Click on offset on the top toolbar.
You want a to do an inner offset only
Now bring your two hats closer together so they are barely overlapping.
Click on the two hats only and “weld” them together.

Depending on your machine and the cardstock you use you may need to adjust your settings.
I don't know the weight of this card stock but it on the lighter side and for my M1 20 watt I used the above settings.
The score function will cut the cardstock with the correct settings.

Glue your inner outline of the hat on the inside of the card
Fold your card over where its matched up perfectly.
