Please make sure your acrylic is masked before engraving and cutting. I recommend using white masking tape for this.  Before cutting the 3mm metallic fuschia acrylic, you should mask the back side and cut from the back. Flashback can be avoided by raising the material off of the honeycomb. 

Each color has been placed on its separate canvas. 

Step 1: Cut the large dragon out of 3mm black acrylic. Then cut the gold dragon out of 1/16in gold mirror acrylic.
Step 2: Using B-7000 glue, add a small amount of adhesive to the gold piece and adhere to the black dragon. You must follow the directions for curing time for the adhesive you are using.
Step 3: Attach the earring hardware as shown in the photo.
