      Good grief! This blockhead and a warm cup screams 'cozy'. 

I built this design for a friend as a gift. I hope you enjoy it, too!

Step1: Apply masking
Preview

Cover the entire wood surface with painters tape or paper masking tape.

Smooth with a card or brayer to remove bubbles or creases. This ensures clean edges and prevents scorching.

Step2: Open file in XCS

Import file in XCS.

If desired, resize graphic to fit the size of wood being cut.

Once desired size is set, proceed to next step.

Step3: Processing

Place masked wood on laser bed.

Focus lens. Press Framing to ensure proper cutting location.

If satisfied, press Process to send to laser.

Step4: Clean up

Remove masking from completed cutout. 

Tip: Use tweezers or double-sided tape, if masking is hard to remove.
