Additional supplies: 40mm bottle opener insert, E6000 adhesive, Titebond 3 adhesive
Instruction
1
Step1: Cut the bottom layer

You will be assembling from the bottom up. 

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step2: Cut the SEAT layer

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process. This layer will be placed on top of the previous layer.

Step3: Assemble the base

Spread TiteBond 3 on the bottom of the Seat layer. Place the glued side on top of the bottom layer. Be sure to keep the shapes lined up. Allow to dry for 30 minutes.

Applying the glue this way, keeps the seat opening clear to glue the insert in properly.

Step4: Cut the BRACE layer

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step5: Cut the TOP layer

Open the file in XCS. Frame, then send to the machine to Process.

Step6: Glue in the insert

Apply E6000 to the entire circular opening on the base you previously assembled. Place the bottle opener insert in the circular opening. Make sure it lines up properly with the cutout. Allow to dry for a minimum of 4 hours. The glue will cure completely in 24 hours.

Step7: Glue the TOP layer

Spread glue on the bottom of the Top layer. Place the glued side down on the previously assembled base layers. 

Allow to dry for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Step8: (Optional) Apply stain

If you choose, apply stain to the assembled bottle opener, at this time. Allow to dry.
