The A5 sized project can be ensemble fast and can even contain a hidden message on the small note inside the envelope. Have fun being creative!
Open the “.xcs” file in xTool Creative Space.
There are multiple workspace where each workspace contains the shapes for all different layers.
Alternatively there is a “.svg” file available which contains the card design too.
I used five different papers, each cut with one of the layers. For the background I used a paper cutter as it was faster though… .
I am normally using a thicker cardboard for the background and some regular (thinner) colored papers to be glued on top of it.
Material
I started with first making grooves where the pieces should be bend later. Once done you can bend those parts even easier.
Material
Next heart layers are combined.
Start by glueing the red heart-colored pieces on top of the white one roughly in the center. The front cover is than glued on top of that to make a perfect fit looking part.
Material
Glue the frame to the background and place the envelope in the center of the background before attaching the hearts on the right corner of the envelope top edge.
I hope you like the project and enjoy looking at it! :)
