Take a clear picture of the item you want to create a jig for

Make sure you use a dark item with very light background. Using different tools or even “Edit” tool in xcs remove the background.

Step2: Outlining

The image shows the steps on what to do once you have the watch band image only.

1. You need to create outline

2. Release the compound vector and delete the unwanted pieces (You can also uncheck the “Add inner outline for bitmap” to skip this part)
3. Now you have a band - however this band will not be exact shape
4. Measure the band realtime in cm (Do it only width or height)
5. Once you have the distance in cm lets say height - convert that piece to that height. Since width and height maintains aspect - it will adjust the width.
6. Do this for for the bottom band as well
7. Pick any shape (We picked circle in this case) and unite it with both top and bottom piece - this makes it easy to swap the bands

You will now have to perform some test to see if your shape fits perfectly.
You can do the oultine and increase it a little. Perform test run
