Step1: Open the file and setup the layers

  • Open the design file on XCS
  • Using the text feature, type the custom message in the font of your choosing and adjust the font size.
  •

Step2: select the power levels

  • Set the outer design to Cut and the custom text to Engrave. 
  • Set the cutting and engraving parameters based on your laser power and the outcome of a material test.
  • Cut the layers

Step3: paint and finish

  •  Paint with color combination of your choosing.
  • Align and glue the layers to complete the project
