I like to keep a coffee sleeve handy, in case I need a pick-me-up. Using the xTool heat press allows me to customize my own. Use these as gifts, giveaways, promotions. There's no limit. Sublimation can be done on neoprene sleeves or regular cardboard ones. Sublimation on black will not be visible. The darker the original material you sublimate on, the harder it will be to see, so I suggest using white.
Open PDF. The print is provided mirrored so that the finished item will show correctly. Print at 100% on sublimation paper, using sublimation ink.
Preheat your heat press to 385 degrees F/195 degrees C.
Ensure coffee sleeve is clean and dry. Place the sleeve flat on your the bed of your heat press. Press for 5 seconds to release any moisture in the sleeve.
Align the printed sublimation paper face-down onto the blank side of the sleeve. Secure it with heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting.
Place the parchment paper over the sleeve. (Note: the sleeve should be on the bottom…the printout should be on top of the sleeve. The parchment will cover all of this as a protection for your heat press.)
Place an additional sheet of parchment paper under the sleeve to catch any ink blowout.
Press for 55 seconds with medium to firm pressure.
Carefully remove the sublimation paper while it's still warm. Let cool completely before repeating steps 1-4 on blank side.
