Personalized Pill Box

      I wanted to make a small, personalized container for a friend, so I went searching for something metal that I could possibly engrave. I found an aluminum alloy screw-top pill box on Amazon and bought two—one to run tests on and one to engrave.

To engrave it, I removed the top and placed it on my honeycomb panel. I used the metal business card reference setting, and I was pleasantly surprised by the tests. I’m very happy with the outcome. It looks more like marking than engraving, and there’s no tactile surface impact from it.

My example is very simple, but you could engrave patterns, designs, or even a raster image for the right effect.
