Instruction

Step1: Starting with the paw print

First i inserted the paw print image in XCS and outlined it for the cut.

Then i made another outline for just the outside of the paw print.

Set the image aside, so you have the cut lines left over.

Hoover over both outlines and group them. That will be the back and the front piece.

Step2: Adding inner line and gap.

Copy the outline and insert it into the first outline and make it smaller, so you have 2 lines.

Then insert a rectangle and place it on/over the top of the paw so it overlaps both lines.

Make it as small/big as you want the gap to be. Then click combine and subtract, so it will make the gap in the top.

Step3: Inside clear acrylic

For the clear acrylic, i copied another outline and made it smaller, so it would fit in the outside paw part.

With enough space to put the glue on the edges.

Step4: Adding all the pieces and stand.

I copied the outlines with the gap, so i had 5 pieces and 2 pieces for the front and back and 2 clear acrylic outlines.

Then i inserted a rectangle and eye balled the size, so the size of the 9 layers would fit on the stand and copied it,

so i had 4 pieces. I did the same for the sides and made 2.

Step5: Putting the pieces together.

Now i have all the pieces cut out and start assembling the stand first, glueing the sides with the bottom, then top and then the sides.

Then i started with gluing the outside glitter acrylic, with the clear acrylic.

One piece at a time i glued all the pieces together and made sure it would line up.

It is a bit tricky, because the inner pieces with the gap are thin.

Side note: I almost forgot. I did put one side piece of the stand, back into the P2 so i could engrave the names, before gluing it all together.

After all pieces are glued together, and glued the paw to the base, you can start putting some change in for your pets :-)

Hope you like this Paw bank and will start making one for your pets.

Thank you.
