While the bamboo is difficult to engrave deeply it has been achieved with high power and low speed.
Having the bamboo in the machine the 2 point position system is used to map out the image size.
Having the image close to one edge only 3 sides need to be cut out.
In order to do this 3 separate lines are created to follow the size of the image.
Once the engraving is complete and the lines are cut a light sanding is done on the image and a clear coat is added for protection.
