Happy New Year Door Corner (Includes How-to Images)- Created in Xtool Creative Space

Step1
While this includes the file here are the instructions for making your own and customizing the file!
Step 1 Create 2 rectangles using the rectangle drawing tool- These were created at 17x280. Use the rotate tab to rotate one rectangle 90 degrees, then align them to meet at the corners.

Select both rectangles and use the uniting tool to erase the overlap and make the L shape.
Step3
Next use the text tab to add your “Happy New Year 2025” Text- I used the broadway font.

Select the font and add an outline to the font to create an outline that will be large enough to encompass the words and enough buffer to cut around the words. I chose 6mm for this one.
Step5
Next, I moved the words to the appropriate spot on the L-shaped base and selected just the outline to clean up any sections of the outline that I didn't want to cut out. Once the outline is selected and in place- use the release tool to break up any outline pieces, then select each and delete as desired.

Next- add some design elements- I chose this image of Snoopy celebrating. Follow the same instructions as above to add an outline, place in desired location and unite.
Be sure to only select the outline of the words and the image when uniting.

Continue adding elements until you get the look you want. I also added a quote to bring some more detail to the design. I used the shape tool and outline to create these stars. Again, you will need to add the outline, position, and unite the outlines to create the right look. If needed use the release tool and then clean up any extra sections.
Step8
Here is the finished product ready to run- to minimize waste I copied the image and rotated to get 2 of these on one sheet of 12x12

The file is now ready to go- Select the outlines and set the correct parameters to CUT. Next, select every other section and ENGRAVE. Run the file Approx 20 minutes for the 2 count using the parameters I used with an S1-20W.
