Someone brought us their personal tumbler. Yeti brand, engraved in laserbox basic with X-Tool D1 10W Pro
Find an image from your folder
Attach the rotary tool so that you can read the numbers. The motor should be to the right as you face the machine.
Use a ruler to find the size. I use millimeters. Mark your center point.
The opening of the tumbler should face to the right. With about 1/8th of an inch off the motor so it rolls freely.
Focus the laser using the kickstand on the side and then place the led crosshair on your marked centerpoint
Drag your photo to Laserbox or XCS
Type in the Height and Width of your image in the menu on the right side.
Engraving settings for Yeti tumblers are 84% power and 54 mm/s speed with 100 Sharpness
While using the Rotary your image needs to be rotated 90 degrees to the right so the top of the image is towards the top of the tumbler.
If doing an image like a name up the side of a tumbler this step can be skipped.
These settings are for yeti tumblers, their powder coat seems to be abit tougher compare to cheaper tumblers.
All my tumblers are done between 79% and 84% power at 54 speed. Using the same method. Colored tumblers seem to take a little more power vs the black ones.
After your done clean the product with a magic eraser. There are several off brand packs that are far cheape from Amazon. I usuall cut mine in half and get multiple uses from each half. The magic eraser is activated by a little bit of water. I rinse the cup and start wiping it down with the magic eraser. Ensure to scrub out the imaged to the best of your ability.
