Text is created in XCS - allowing you to customize Bumbles Sign. This is a 3mm wood and painted.
The design is ment to be broke apart and painted - if you are not painted - would suggest to tape the top piece together before pulling from the machine.
Carefully remove the wood pieces from the body - the ‘fur’ cuts are easy to break - but to be honest is not a big deal, if they do break off, because you will be gluing the top piece on the ‘hanging piece’ - if your fur pieces to break out -you have depth apperance. and not painted
I paint with arcylic paint - which dries pretty fast. After about 15 minutes, carefully put the pieces back together.
Note that - the paint has now made the pieces a bit thicker - but with some gentle effort the pieces will slide together.
You can either paint the back piece all black, or only the head black - the mouth is cut from the body. Be creative - OR paint to bumble standards
Black border .
White fur
mix cerulean blue with the remaining white to lighten it.
when painting over the face- its best to do a wash ( water your paint) - so the engraved face will show through.
‘
after ‘dry fitting’ the body back together, spread wood glue on the back piece and place body on back piece - the outline of both pieces are the same - so its easy to line them up.
clamp and wait!
