Made a colorful Grinch Lantern and used an LED battery operated set of lights inside.  I made this on the M1 by using a 12x12 3mm pine boards.  For the grinch body i rotated til it fit completely inside the board.  This took approximately 3 boards to complete it.  For painting, I used painters tape and taped off the areas to paint different colors.  I also made this completely stained. The finished options is completely your choice.
