Information
My other hobby is Trading and Baseball Cards. Large trading card supply manufacturers make basic/plain white dividers for your cards. Thought I would use my new laser hobby to develop some dividers with player names in the team colors.

This was the result.

Instruction

Step1

I did the following steps to create:

  1. Clean 12" x 12" piece of 1/16" or 1.5mm basswood
  2. Spray painted basswood color of choice.  In my case, I used my favorite teams color.  Both sides.
  3. Change names on template to desired output
  4. Run the laser engraving process.

Some notes on item:

  • These are similar to the tall trading card dividers you might find in supply market
  • The player name used will have to be adjusted and centered properly as it will change with the length of each name.
  • The size is perfect if cards are unsleeved or in standard penny holder sleeves.  However, if cards are stored in top loaders I might extend the length of these by a ¼" to account for the holder height.

Hope all find a nice addition to your trading card collection and organization.
