the point of this exercise was to attempt to fully wrap the bauble, so that one could not determine the start and stop point, as well as push the 'bounds' of the working area of the bauble. 

Not a 100% success - maybe a 95% rate - the viewer does have to be 'looking for the seam' - casual viewer may not notice.
