First of all we need to “trick” without treat the settings, so we place a sheet of cardboard/posterboard(paper not plastic) on the plate and we secure it with the magnetic pins to the honeycomb (You can use blue tape if You don't use the honeycomb) so it will remain flat.

After that we do the automeasure on the cardboard before placing our acrylic, doing so the machine will use the cardboard as the reference since we cannot engrave on clear surfaces

Now we place the acrylic sheet on the cardboard and we secure it with some tape so there will be no gap trough all the surfaces.

Add Your design or image, I took mine from the Adobe Stock services as a png image.

Set the parameters at 20% output power to work with my cardboard, the speed was set at 200 and 120lines per second.
If you wish to have more depth in Your engrave You can reduce the speed, but be aware that in my previous tests going under speed 120 means making burnt marks on the acrylic and crack it.

After Your machine finished to engrave just wipe the back of Your acrylic with some paper or a wet cloth to remove the residue and You will have Your lamp engraved!
