The first that was done was go to Xart and ask for a scary graveyard scene with tombstones, the program came up with this image. I sent it to xcs software canvas but I wanted to clean it up so I used a different program to convert it to a un-grouped SVG so I could remove items I didn't want.

As you can see I removed the text from the tombstone and other very fine pieces that were nt needed.

Now it was time to make a backing or border, I used the outline feature and set it the offset I liked. I then moved this back ground and added new text, I used the curved feature to add a slight curve to the text while I was at it. I then add the words “wood and acrylic” to show what pieces are made from.

Now it was time to adjust the settings, each piece has different settings from engraving and cutting but because the material is made from 2 different types the settings are different for each

After the S1 did it's job the acrylic and wood was glued together, then it was set to be displayed.
