I made this door hanger for a craft show. It only took 11 minutes to cut the top layers for a 16-inch MDF round base. I already had a 16-inch round, but I included an XCS file so you can cut that size as a puzzle piece if needed.
The file contains settings for cuts in red and score marks in blue for proper alignment. Delete the blue score marks if you don't need them but I found them useful. I could still see the score marks even after painting and that was the intent.
Cut settings for the 3mm boards: Power 65 - Speed 12
Score settings: Power 48 - Speed 33
I painted everything with two layers of acrylic paint purchased in quart-size samples from Sherwin Williams. The quart samples work great, last a long time, and cost about $10. I keep them in my house when it is really cold or hot outside, but they are mostly kept in the garage.
I used fondant cake decorating tools to add the red berries. (Amazon)
I used StarBond Thick glue to put the project together and then sprayed on a layer of clear coat acrylic to make it shiny and durable for outside use.
