I made this sign for a Christmas gift. Making the top-layer cutouts took only nine minutes of machine time, and painting took about fifteen minutes. After the paint dried, assembly was also quick since the letters and words are connected.
As I mentioned before this project only took 9 minutes to cut. I plan to make a few more and experiment with different colors. I would love to see some remixes (by others) of this quick project!
I hand-painted the round MDF board using a roller and two layers of acrylic paint, then spray-painted the words, trees, and stars.
I sprayed a clear coat of acrylic on the gold trees and stars and sprinkled a generous amount of gold glitter on the trees and stars then topped those pieces off with another coat of spray acrylic to seal the glitter.
