Santa Please Stop Here For Personalised Christmas Framed Decoration

I was asked to make a Santa Please Stop Here sign, but friend wanted it in frame.

I started off by cutting and engraving the tiled letters in basswood ply.

Then for the name, to make it stand out i used red 3mm MDF to cut and engrave the name.

Lastly, (or so i thought) i cut out the Santa, sleigh and reindeer from 3mm Walnut ply. 

I brought the shadow box from a local store and set to laying out the design.

I decided there was something missing, so i added stars coming from the sleigh to give the illusion of flying, cut from the 3mm basswood ply.

I was chuffed how it came out, as it was my first time designing my own work, as i have only had my M1 for 2 months :)
