Prepare the File:
• Download the design file and load it into your laser engraving software (e.g., Creative Space).
Set Up the Laser:
• Place the 3 mm plywood on the laser bed.
• Adjust the settings in the software for 3 mm plywood engraving and cutting.
• Run a test to ensure proper alignment and settings.
Cut the Design
• This project is designed for cutting, painting, and assembling, ensuring a clean and polished paint job.
• Use your laser to cut out the outlines and individual pieces for the stocking and puff ball characters.
Clean the Pieces
• Carefully remove the cut pieces from the laser bed, as some may be very small. To avoid mixing with pieces from previous projects, clean your collection tray before cutting.
• Lightly sand the edges, if necessary, to remove any burn marks.
Paint the Design
• Hand-paint the pieces with acrylic paints, using vibrant colors to make the puff ball characters and stocking stand out.
• Let the paint dry completely before assembling.
