Information
      Here is a gift for a family made from 19mm stain pine and black cast acrylic painted white. This sign is 10" x 23.5" all done without conveyor.

Step1: Acrylic Prep

  1. This project uses 2 sheets of 12x12 acrylic, these sheets are set to be cut one by one
  2. With the software the 2 sheets are set to be the right size fonts laid out across both sheets 
  3. With the first letters fitting on the sheet the second sheet gets the remaining letters
  4. This is also set to align with the top of the 19mm thick pine board 
  5. This way when both acrylic sheets are cut they are lined up along the top on the pine to center and space out the letters properly.

Step2: Set Up

  1. Once the letters have been cut with the laser the 2 sheets are taped in place
  2. The letters are painted white and once dry they can be glued in place from the cut outs.
  3. When glued the 2 sheets are lifted away and you have a perfectly aligned sign and ready to use.
