  1. This project needed a cool looking labrador dog and what better way to show your cool is to have sunglasses
  2. So AImake to the rescue by asking for just that
  3. It came up with the perfect image
  4. This image was brought into xcs software and was adjusted to fit the oversized pine board
  5. With the sign itself laid out for size it was sent to the machine to engrave the dog
  6. Once the dog was engraved the lettering was cut out from acrylic to be lined up on the board and glued down with very strong E7000 glue
  7. When the dog was deeply engraved a thin layer of powder coating powder was put over the engraved area
  8. With a heat gun the powder was slowly heated until it melted
  9. After the wood cooled it was lightly sanded to clean up the access powder.
  10. Once it was clean and all the letters were dried in place 2 coats of stain sealer was applied all over the sign front and back.
  11. Now the sign is ready for that summer time fun.
