There is a preset for projects called "Brown Kraft Bags" just remember you may have to adjust your setting depending on the image you are using, the grid, Honeycomb, or aluminum covered base. You'll need a thin piece of wood covered in aluminum to slip inside the bag to prevent the lazer from cutting too deep into the bag.
To begin with, choose a very basic clip art image. For this example I'm using this pumpkin face. I also began with the preset "Brown Kraft Bag."
After sizing and placing the image where I want it on my bag, I edited out all the white.
Now you're ready to make an outline of the image.
Choose the "Outline" feature and set the "offset distance" to 0.
Go ahead and delete the original image and you should just have the "outline" left.
Your presets are all in place, make sure the "output" is on (green) and hit "Process"
remember, this time is an estimate....
The actual time took a little longer.
Once it's done cutting, pull your project out and begin weeding if necessary.
Use a battery operated tea light and you're all set.
