A tomb stone
First I cut them all down to the size that I wanted that would fit inside my enclosure on my D1 PRO extension. I used a table saw to make the edges of the boards flat and then glued them together I then used some scrap from the pickets ripped down to 1inch strips to secure them together these will also act as a place to put your foot and place them in the dirt. Next you will need to use a jig saw and cut them rounded on the top making some off cuts will make them look more realistic so dont worry about making it perfect. I also used an angle grinder on the edges with sanding disks to make more rustic weathered look. now you spray paint it black and let that dry and then paint over it with gray latex
Next we let Shelly(yes I named mine let me know if I am the only one who does silly things like this in the comments). Placing the project inside can be a bit difficult sometimes but it is always possible the Xtool D1 is so versatile.
Now I took it out and back to painitng I panted the letters no worry about staying in the lines as we will sand it. then I took some red spray paint and a gloved hand thinking it would look like a smeared hand streak this did not work but I will try again and hopefully take a video this time. then take some 100 grit sand paper on a orbital sander and let the black show through the gray a little bit. I then attached some yard stakes using 1 ¾ inch strips from the scrap and a kick stand with a hinge out of a 2inch strip all yard stakes are cut at 50 degree angles on both sides to allow to cut into the dirt.
Thats it Place them in your yard and make your spooky display!
