Step1: Position the hip flask

Place the Hip Flask on your device's honeycomb plate or triangular prisms. Ensure that it is parallel to the laser's X-axis. Use “snapshot preview” to bring the flask and plate into XCS.

Step2: Mark the mid-point on the flask's surface.

Find the mid-point of the hip flask with measuring tape, and mark the spot with a pencil.

Step3: Align the laser's red cross with the mid-point of the flask.

Position the laser module so that the red cross is aligned on the mid-point you marked in step 2. 

Auto measure distance at this point.

Step4: Center the image on the flask

While keeping the red cross over the mid-point of the flask surface, align the image in XCS so that its center is at the red-cross.

Click “Framing” and follow the on-screen instructions to ensure the engraving area is correct.
