Step1: Open in XCS

Open project directly in XTool Creative Space. 

 

Now there are only a few things to prepare:

  1. Adjust the size of the image to the size of your wooden piece.
  2. Determine if you need to cut the base material. If not, delete the cut layer, or set to ignore.
  3. If you want to create multiples, copy and Align the pictures horizontally and vertically

Or, use the provided image and go on your own:

  1. Choose the material in the Select Material menu currently set to “3mm Basswood”
  2. Set each layer to the settings according the material you chose
  3. Adjust the size of the image to the size of your piece.

Step2: Engrave and Cut

  1. Align and frame to your material.
  2. Click Process to start sending to the laser

Keep watch as the laser engraves and cuts. Safety first.
