Step1: How to do it

1)        Use your favorite word processor to create whatever text you want in whatever shape you want. (Note, I’m assuming that your word processor can create your heart’s desire. If not, find a better word processor or get help in a FB group, the local library, school, or whatever.)

2)       Go wild in your text!!!

3)       When you have what you want, save with a memorable name in the appropriate folder.

4)       Do a Print Preview and resize the screen for best fit.

5)       When all looks good,  move the mouse out of the way, and hit the “PrtScr” (“Print Screen”) button and minimize your word processor.

6)       Start a quality image editor (I use PhotoStudio), create a blank workspace, point to it and right click. Choose “Paste”. Your text should appear as a picture.

7)       Crop away all the extraneous image. Keep only the text area you want!

8)       If possible use a “Magic Wand” type tool to clean out any unwanted pixels.

9)       Save or Export as a .jpg file, again to the appropriate destination.
The tough part is over.

10)     If you’re working on a computer other than your xTool machine, make a copy of your jpg file onto the xTool computer.

11)       Now simply use “File”, “Import image” in Creative Space.

12)     Resize the image of your unique text and burn away!
