I've always been a Harry Potter fan... After finding a broken light switch in the downstairs half-bath. I figured it was about time that I share that love with anyone that needs to use my restroom... *laughs*
First, check your toggle. It should state what end is up and what is down. If it's a toggle that was already installed. You can put a piece of tape on the “on” or “off” so you know before engraving.
Now… because it's small enough, you might find that you don't need to do this next step… But I like to err on the side of caution…
Press the “off” side of the toggle so that when it lays flat, the “off” is also flat….
load the file into your xcs and highlight the top portion (lumos + wand + framing box) set them to “ignore”….
now the only output should be the “nox” side of the toggle….
Start the framing process and align your “off” side of the toggle with the framing box.
Once you've got it all aligned, pew pew that go button and watch the magic begin!
Now we are going to select the “nox” box and set that to ignore.
select the “Lumos + Wand + Framing box” and set that to output.
press the “on” side of your toggle down so it's flat with the base of the laser and align your frame.
BEFORE YOU START
Go back to XCS and set the frame around lumos and the wand to ignore….
Now process the top as you did the bottom (Don't forget to say “pew pew pew” as you press the start button…)
Working with electrical can be dangerous!
Please use caution when working with electrical. If you don't feel safe changing a switch yourself, Google has many resources that would be happy to do it for you.
REMEMBER: When all else fails… do NOT lick the wires… Please…
