Teacher Day - Appreciation Ornament

Choose the image you would like for your ornament and upload it.  If it has multiple pieces you can combine them.

Determine what size you would like your ornament to be and create a circle.  Then using the outline feature, create your outer circle.

Create a circle to fit the string you would like to hang the ornament with.  Then create an outer circle with it.  Overlap the circles with your ornament base.  Use the combine function to unite them.

Place your image in your ornament base.  Make sure that there are several contact overlaps to secure the pieces together.

Create a copy of your image and place it aligned with the original.

You will use the unite function to combine the cut version of your image with the ornament base.

Insert a long rectangle to join the bottom of your image.  This will allow you to have a solid bottom for words.  Delete the bottom cutout.

Make sure the score version of your image is aligned with the cutout.

Add your text.

Place your material on the machine and secure it.  Align your design on the material.

Double check your settings

Use the measuring feature, measure for focus.

Begin your project.

Remove your project from the machine.  Remove extra pieces and wipe with baby wipe.

Add your string and give it away!
