bananas and monkeys go together why not have a monkey hold your bananas on the counter for you....
Step 1) This project starts with images from the computer, these images have no control other than engraving but they need some work before this happens. First off each image is outlined, with this the backing can be created.
Step 2) Once both images were outlined they were moved away from the outline, the 2 pieces were placed in such away it created a hook at the top. they both were then united together with the combine feature. Then the original monkey image was placed back to within the outline. It then was inverted ready for engraving as I wanted it to engrave in reverse.
Step 3) Now it was time to create a base for the monkey and holder, this was achieved by creating an oval shape with the insert button, this was sized to handle the hook with some banana's on it weight wise. Also at the same time a thin rectangle was created with the same button and was sized to fit the thickness of the acrylic snug.
Step 4) once everything was sized and ready to go the settings for cutting the acrylic were set along with the engravings of the acrylic. The base was made from wood so the cut settings were different.
Step 5) Now everything was assembled by placing the acrylic in the hole created in the wood base, then the banana'a were hung to wait for the next person to get hungry for one of them….
