A modular basswood cutout to hold multiple sizes of ornaments. The base plate replaces the baseplate of the F1, then you plug in different holders for different ornament sizes. Updated .xcs file 11/19 to add spacer block so that wood F1 baseplate will sit at same level as F1's metal baseplate (optional).
the design file has multiple colors for you. The cyan part is the replacement F1 base. If you want to make multiple F1 jigs, notice I copied the hole pattern and you can merge the cyan and red parts to make F1 base pieces. Normally you'd cut out the cyan part and the black part only.
the green layer is just human assembly instructions, not for cutout.
You stack a ball holder, an insert and a spacer together for each ball size. Then use #6 screws (coarse drywall thread or machine screw, both work) to tie them together. Note that heads of screws for the largest size are put in the opposite way. This is to ensure that tails of screws don't interfere with ornament.
Each different size ball is held in correct position with the correct holder.
