This is a simpler project for kids during summer break.
Gather all of your supplies.
Adult: Wood, clamps and maybe the glue
Kids: Paint and brushes
Open your project in XCS and connect your machine.
Determine the settings for your machine and material.
Place your material on the slats (or honeycomb) and secure.
Using the camera, align your project to your material. Using the close up view option provides even clearer detail.
Using the measuring tool in XCS, measure in the middle of your material.
Run your project.
Remove your material from the machine.
If there is any soot, use a baby wipe to remove it gently.
Very carefully pop out all of the extra pieces and discard.
Here is where the kids creativity can shine. They can paint the layers any way they please.
Depending on the age and type of glue, adults may need to do this step. Carefully apply thin layer of glue to the back of each layer and stack together. Then clamp to dry.
Remove the clamps and the project is finished!
