7 Layer Halloween decor.
I designed the pictures in cricut design space, since it wouldn't let me attach lines and images in XCS, so this was a quick solution.
I started with a black circle and attached a black rectangle to the bottom and welded it in place. Then i placed a white circle in the middle, so it looked like the circle was open.
I copied the first image and inserted the image of the ghost and made it touch the inner circle. I did the same with the tree and witch.
I opened the snip & sketch tool and hoovered over the first image and saved it to the PC. I did the same with the other 4 images
Make sure, if you do use Design space, to remove the grid in the settings, so you have a blank canvas.
I then, converted the images in a free SVG converter to SVG files ( You can google free SVG converter ) and saved those to the PC.
I opened XCS and inserted all the SVG files i had converted in SVG and set the settings
I also inserted the *Happy Halloween* words and made it to size, so it would fit in the bottom part and set the settings for engrave.
Once all cut, i cut out a round piece of orange plastic and attached it to the last backing with glue. Then attached the other clear backing with Gorilla glue and the rest followed the same, till everything was glued and stacked together.
And there you have it. 7 layers of stacked/glued basswood Halloween decoration.
I made it in a smaller size, but you can make it as big as you want. I left it unpainted, but you can of course use acrylic paint or sharpie pens to color it.
Happy Halloween :-)
