Information
This desk tray has two design elements, the hexagons, and the AI generated image on the back panel. There are two holes on the back panel which make it walll-mountable with drywall anchors. I created this to save space on the desktop in my garage workshop.

Instruction
1
Step1: Cut material with default settings for 3 mm basswood

The parts were designed in FreeCad.  The file is included in this project.  Slots and tabs, for example, are both 3 mm x 10 mm, but because of the laser kerf it's not a tight press fit, so you have to use glue.

Cutting time is dependent on the AI generated image you choose for the back panel.  You can replace the file I used with one of your own.

2
Step2: Fit tabs into slots with Elmer's glue

I used clear non-toxic Elmer's glue

3
Step3: Mount to wall

Use a drywall anchor kit with the smallest screws.  My anchor kit had an included bit of the correct size.  I also used a level to make sure the two holes were level.  Screw the fasteners through the holes carefully.

Enjoy!
