This is a simple project built for beginners. It's a quick little project for an easy gift, or to wear for a nice autumn gathering (like a picnic) :-)
Import your file into XCS and group immediately. You don't want the hole for findings to move when you position your file for framing.
Set your material thickness (I'm using 3mm). Next, set your cut settings. This file is cut only so only one layer needed. I use the settings that work best for my P2 but you'll need to decide which settings work best for your machine.
Each machine has it's own alignment methods so choose what works for your maching. P2 has a camera and a close-up view camera so that's what I use to align my cut.
Check your preview before processing. Make sure the circles for holes have not shifted and all is ready to process, then send to your machine for cutting.
Make sure that your pieces cut correctly and, if you cut with the backing on, make sure to remove it.
Choose your findings. I have a variety and went with Gold since it's an autumn color.
Place your jump ring through the hole in the acrylic and attach the earring post (or wire) and crimp the jump ring closed. If giving as a give, place on your jewelry card, or whatever you prefer to use for presentation. That's it! Easy peasy!
