Wife wanted a flower pot she could hang on the wall, so here is my attempt at a wall flower pot, made from Birch and bamboo.
Step 1) This was created from a shape I created in a different software, all the other parts to this project primarily the birch pieces were created within XCS software by using the insert feature by means of a rectangle size to become the backing of the pot, and a circle that was shaved in half with the combine and subtract feature, a second half circle was also developed but placing a smaller half circle within the other one to remove the inside radius. all setting were adjusted at this point and everything was sent to the laser machine.
Step 2) Once the items were finished in the laser machine they were laid out and glued together, 1 back piece one half circle bottom piece and 1 hollow half circle for the top piece, once that frame was glued together the bamboo sheeting was applied around the curve and glued in to place.
Step 3) Once the entire wall pot was glued together a light clear coat for protection was applied, then came the final touches of flowers to be displayed.
