Instruction

Step1: Find folders and do a test burn
Preview

These folders are relatively cheap and you can get 5 for $1 where I live. So I bought multiple of each color just to do a test on them to see what power and speed setting I should use. Generally you would want to do this every time you do a different material or color because each can provide different results. As you can see. I had pretty much the same results on black and blue, but red had a different setting so you will need to adjust accordingly.

Step2: Engraving the Red

For the red one I set up the settings according to my burn test. That was 150mm/s at 5% power. The results were great.

Step3: Engraving The Blue

Line up the blue folder and engrave. I used according to my tests 150mm/s at 10% power for this one.

Step4: Engraving the Black

Again you want to line up your design and then you will be able to burn. I used the same settings as the blue as the material test came out the same. 150mm/s at 10% power.

Step5: Customizing the folders

You can really do anything you want with these folders. The personalization is endless. I have left the Name off of the lightburn files so anyone can substitute a name or subject or whatever they like. That is the great thing about lasers and using the software. Enjoy!
