So this is a non laser step, you can purchase the board from my site or build one these are made from Acacia Wood, and food grade glue. After the assymbly and the laser engraving. I then soak in mineral oil and after wiping it clean I use Station 22 Woodworking Butter to seal it in.

Step2: Engraving

For this step you will need to ensure that your project is centered on your honeyComb in the D1Pro. The cut file is the one I used you can size it how you like bigger, or smaller, you could even customize it at this point! I used my 20W pro at 55% and 110 for the speed (I like to have the speed up a bit) you lose a bit of the accuracy but its a lot faster. At this point Pro tip! I used alcohool and a microfiber cloth to clean the board and make the engraving really pop. Now is when you do your finish sanding and asymble the legs. After it is all asymbled I soak over night in mineral oil then let dry 1 day. Once it is dry I put the finish wax on (Station 22 Woodworking Butter). Presto! now you have a great center piece for your next picnic!
