[Prompt] Steam Engine with Coal Car in winter setting

Instruction

Step1: Before you begin

This project as created by request for a friend who wanted an old steam engine ornament that was pulling a coal car. Having a blank back allowed them to personalize it with a special message to the recipient of the ornament.
Keep in mind, this was designed with settings for a P2 and done on Ecobirch from Smokey Hill Designs. If you are going to use a different machine/materials, you will need to adjust your settings accordingly.

Since this is a 3d illusioned depth engraved ornament, it does take a while to engrave - approximately 30 minutes. But it is very worth it.

Step2: Cutting your Ornament

This requires a high LPC for the engraved wolf picture to get the same look that I am showing in the picture. No matter what your other settings are, I recommend the high LPC to have a consistent and complete depth look to your ornament. Minimum recommended is 220, although I normally have mine set to 300 for this. Setting 3 above shows the settings I used.

For lettering, I used setting 2, which has a higher power, lower speed and lower LPC.

Cutting is set to setting 1 above and has been pretty good about cutting through Ecobirch. Regular birch, I down the speed to 13 instead of 15.
