Instruction

Step1: Measurements

Wooden coffee pod holder (Nespresso size) instruction: step 1 - Measurements
Preview

First step, measure thickness of your material.  I used 5 mm ply, so the thickness of the slots is 4.9MM for the template.

Step2: Adjust slot sizes

Wooden coffee pod holder (Nespresso size) instruction: step 2 - Adjust slot sizes

The long slot sizes are 4.9MM wide.  Leaving aspect ratio off prevents the length from adjusting.  Adjust the width of the slots on the base and the top to the width of your material before cutting, account for laser kerf width as appropriate.

3

Step3: Cut and engrave the base

I recommend cutting the base and sides first to verify the slot sizes fit the way you'd like them to.

4

Step4: Cut and engrave the pod holderer top

Cut and engrave the pod holder top after adjusting the slot widths based on your settings from the base and sides.

5

Step5: Assemble

I used CA glue for assembly.  Insert the sides into the base and run a bead of thick CA glue like caulk, shoot it with a bit of accelerator.  Repeat on the lid and you're all set.

Enjoy!
